Open House at the Harvard Shaker Herb Drying House (1848)

December 3, come visit the Harvard Shaker Herb Drying House. Warm up
with free hot cider. Learn about Harvard’s Shaker heritage, and
see the
inside of an extraordinary historic site. View the Historical Society’s
“Harvard as Utopia” exhibit, in case you missed it in Still River. The
first hundred visitors get a free
packet of Shaker mulling spices,
generously provided by the Shakers at Sabbathday Lake in honor of this
building’s ongoing restoration. Join us in preserving historical
Harvard.
Donations gratefully accepted to the
Harvard Historical
Preservation Gift Fund, to support the restoration of the Shaker
Herb Drying House and other restoration projects in Harvard.
